Hitting the streets

Recently our Vinnies Victoria volunteers Rhys Cahill, Jon Razos, Pete Estorque and Stefan Stoev headed out on the nightly Vinnies Soup Van route.

The team pitched in to experience what the Vinnies frontline teams do every night, 365 days a year. Starting off at the new Inner City Hub in Kensington to load vans, before heading into the CBD via North Melbourne to hand out nutritious food and have a chat to the soup van visitors – who know Vinnies are coming – and wait in all sorts of weather to receive a food hamper and stay for a chat.
