Talaria Co-CIO Chad Padowitz’s latest stock in focus for Money Magazine looks at Buzzi, the Italian family-controlled cement producer with significant exposure to the US and global infrastructure markets.
With cement plants difficult to replicate and high transport costs creating barriers to entry, Buzzi benefits from established market positions and attractive industry economics. The company also has a strong net cash balance sheet and is increasingly returning capital to shareholders through dividends and buybacks.
Trading at just 8.4 times expected 2026 earnings and below book value, Chad examines why Buzzi could be an undervalued opportunity, with potential upside of around 23%.
