Student Placement Program

Talaria Head Office | Level 14, 330 Collins St, Melbourne

Applications are now open for the next intake of the Talaria Student Placement.

Your academic background doesn’t have to be in finance to succeed in finance:

  • Ann Kaplan began in music and the arts before becoming a top M&A banker at Goldman Sachs.
  • Peter Lynch majored in history, philosophy, and psychology before running one of the best-performing funds in history.
  • Michael Ovitz, co-founder of Creative Artists Agency, used his arts and media expertise to build a successful career in venture capital.

What they all prove is this: the skills of critical thinking, problem solving, storytelling, and imagination can be just as powerful in the world of investments as they are on stage, in a studio, or in a classroom.

This paid program is open to all university students from any academic background. No prior finance experience is required, just an inquisitive mindset, a love of learning, and the ambition to grow.

Eligibility

  • Enrolled in an Australian university degree with more than one year remaining
